Submersible LED Pool Light

This submersible LED pool light turns an ordinary evening swim into something worth photographing. Thirteen LED beads throw a bright, saturated glow through the water, and the remote lets you move between sixteen static colours and six automatic transition modes from the poolside. One remote controls several lights at once, so a whole pool changes colour together.

It is built to live in water rather than merely tolerate it. A sealed IP68 housing with a screw-down cap keeps the battery compartment dry, and twin suction cups hold the unit firmly to a smooth pool wall, a tub or the base of a pond. The RF remote reaches roughly 15 metres through air and 2 metres through water, so signals get through in large or deep pools without you having to aim.

The same light works far beyond the pool - in a fish tank, a vase, a fountain, a hot tub or along a hallway as an accent lamp for a party or wedding. Brightness is adjustable from the remote. For safety, never allow children to swim or play near the water without close adult supervision, keep batteries away from small children, and fit the light before anyone enters the pool.
