This artificial black Halloween tree comes in 6, 7 and 8 foot heights, so it can sit in a hallway corner or dominate a storefront window. All black foliage fills out 758, 1040 or 1408 branch tips depending on the size, and 280, 380 or 500 LED lights in orange and purple are strung through the branches before it ships. Lit at night, the color pools inside the dark needles instead of washing over them.

The controller runs six lighting modes. Five pair a moving light sequence with its own eerie soundtrack, and the sixth holds the lights steady with no audio. An infrared sensor built into the controller picks up movement within 16.4 feet and lights the tree as people approach. Assembly is fast, since the tree splits into three hinged sections whose branches swing open on their own, and a pre-assembled screw on the crossed metal base means no hole alignment.

The PVC foliage is flame retardant, odorless and built to hold its shape season after season, while the crossed metal base with anti slip footpads keeps a tall tree steady on hard floors. A certified adapter powers the lights. Keep it indoors or under full cover, unplug it in severe weather and whenever it is left unattended, and keep the cord clear of traffic. Adult supervision is recommended around children and pets near the lit branches.
