Tungsten Carbide Grinding Disc

This tungsten carbide grinding disc set replaces a drawer full of worn sanding pads with three discs that keep cutting. Hundreds of tungsten carbide points bite into timber and remove stock at a rate abrasive paper cannot match, and because carbide holds its edge, a single disc outlasts a stack of sandpaper through project after project.

Three profiles cover the shapes real work throws at you. A flat disc handles broad surfaces and levelling, a bevelled disc cuts chamfers and clean angled edges, and an arc disc works into concave curves and hollows where a flat tool simply cannot sit. Together they suit wood trimming, root carving, tea tray hollowing, product shaping and general DIY on convex, concave, bevelled and flat surfaces.

Fitting takes seconds. Each disc mounts straight onto a standard electric angle grinder with a 16 mm bore, with no adapters or setup procedure to work through. The discs are intended for non-metallic, non-hardened materials such as timber. Always wear eye protection, gloves and a dust mask, check the disc is seated and tightened before starting, and keep both hands on the grinder while cutting.
