The needles are flame retardant, fade resistant PVC on a metal frame, and the crossed base folds flat for storage between seasons. Keep the tree clear of open flame, candles and heat sources, unplug the lights when you leave the house or go to bed, and supervise children and pets around the cord and the stand. Decorations are not included, which leaves the styling entirely up to you.
